Wade is an actor and improv comedian. He has acted in film, TV and had his own radio show but it is the improv stage that is his first love. He has been performing, directing and teaching the art of improvisation around the world since 1994. He is the founding member of The Improv Bandits, winner of 2 international improv championships, and is considered a leading authority on improvisation. He has worked with many schools, performing arts schools and community groups.

Wade is recognized for bringing his business acumen to the Arts and is an award-winning producer of live comedy having produced over 2000 shows since 1994 that have featured in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Texas, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Melbourne, Leuven, and throughout New Zealand. He is the current Artistic Director of the Covert Theatre, a theatre company he founded in 2001 and Artistic Associate of the Chicago Improv Festival, the world’s largest improv festival.

Wade is a registered clinical Hypnotherapist with over 10 years of clinical practice. Trained in a wide number of different healing modalities including Zen Shiatsu, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and more, he has worked successfully with people who have sexual dysfunctions, phobias, allergies, addictions, stress management, smoking cessation and lifestyle issues with finance, career and relationships.

Fluent in Japanese, Wade holds three black belts in martial arts, two of which he received while living in Japan training in Shotokan Karate, the other in Koryu Uchinadi (Classical Okinawan) Kempo, in which he still trains today. He is a proud member of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society.
